CONGRATULATIONS ON THE NEW BABY CHICKS!!! Are eggs started hatching last Thursday 4/23rd and out of 42 eggs...........38 successfully hatched

We are excited even though not all of them hatched..........for some reason the last 4 didnt hatch and 1 chicken didnt make it. I will post pictures and updates later.

Wow..

Congrats!! I'd say thats a GREAT turnout. I had 4 total hatch out of 10. Not great but expected with shipped eggs. Post pics when you get a chance

The above pictures were taken outdoors while the sun was out. This last one was taken much later, when it was very overcast. That's why the egg looks darker in this last one.

That makes 2 of us...lol, all we know is that the roosters are dominique( he has 4 with roos with about 30 hens), there are dominique hens, and our friend said the other hens were black hens and some bantys, if anyone would like to chime in and give us an idea of what we might have........please feel free, we love em either way
