I missed this thread... I have BBS Orps due the 23rd , put them in the hatcher yesterday

Had a few temp fluctuations so hopefully they are okay

Just took my turner out. I am hatching 30 eggs. ( leghorns, silkies and cornish). The action should take place friday.
Wish me luck!!! I might have some white leghorn/ black silkie mix. Can you imagine the cuteness that would be!!

I have chirping, cheeping, peeping... whatever!! It sounds like only 1 right now, but I had "low" temp problems after taking the turner out, so hopefully they will just be a little late. Today is day 20.. I need luck!

Today is day 20 for us...I haven't heard a peep. This was our first try, and I have a bad feeling that we aren't going to have any hatch. Keeping our fingers crossed...

This is our first time as well hatching eggs (chickens) we received our eggs from a local farmer and he gave us his chicken eggs so hopefully they all hatch

we are on day 17 an will be taking them off the turner this Friday before we go home. We own and operate are own preschool so we hope our chickens hatch well so the children can view this miracle.
