I'm so sorry you lost your babies. Its going up into the 100's here by Friday. Hope your day is better today. My 5 remaining eggs will go into lockdown tonight!Everyone is more then welcome over here lolI had a bad morning today and it kept getting even more bad for me. I had some baby chicks die on me and I took it really had with the first 2 that I found this morning sorry for not coming back on here this am like I said I would. I didn't even candle mine I just through them all in but 4 I had taken out before so we will see. I hope 4 a better day in the am. It is going to be in the 90's in morning and next day over 100 here. All my baby's might be in the shaded run if it is to hot for then in there brooder. I have save a chick life dink all ready for them and I change there waters all though the day. I did all the changing of bedding in the coops today busy busy never stops. My 3 year old daughter helped though.Did my garden by watering that by hand for one hour fun! Now time to go to bed. Sleep tight all sweet dreams.![]()
I set twelve to hatch on the 10th, lost one and am down to eleven. It's my first time and very excited for my girl to be a mama. I had six Lavender Orpingtons and six Blue Laced Red Wyandottes. Like I said, I'm down one but not sure which breed. I like surprises.Anyway, very much looking forward to the babies. Pictures to follow...
