Setting my eggs tonight (April 10) Any tips?

Whew doggie, she is some ticked!!

My girl is so gentle. She puffs but that is it. I just love her. We are day 19 today and Scrunchie looks like she is concentrating really hard. I tried to listen for something but couldn't hear but they are under her so...... I can't wait to see everyone's chicks!! So eggciting!

Well, no death stare from by broodies, just some intense concentration. I candled last week and saw some little chickies moving around, so I decided to leave them alone after that. Not counting the 2 that broke the first week, I have 6 out of 6 alive as of last week. I guess they're in "lockdown" today, though they're under my only 2 chickens, so there's no need to move them.
Does anyone know if it's still okay to open their coop windows if it's nice out when they're supposed to be in "lockdown"? I don't want to mess with their temp, but they're firmly tucked under the hens.
Happy hatching to everyone!

Guess what?
I went to TSC and saw the chicks... just HAD to get a few..... So now I guess my soon-too-be-hatched chicks have company...?

Well, I set my eggs on April 9th in the evening so I count April 10th as day one. Not sure now. I guess it doesn't matter as much under a broody. Congratulations on your sooner date. I hope you get a 100% hatch!

HERE ARE MY NEW BABIES!!!!!

(Not my hatched chicks... lol)

I picked up four chicks from the "straight run" box at TSC. Any ideas what the breeds are?
Chicks 2-4 have Green/Gray legs in case you can't see.
