Setting new eggs! They're hatching!! And I needa little help...

Well, I just set everybody! I wound up only setting 26, a few of them had cracks in them and I had to throw them out. Oh well, better now than later!

Okay, now comes hard part . . . 21 days of waiting.

Just set 7 pheasant eggs tonight and already have silkies in the bator. They were supposed to come within a day of each other which would have had them at the same hatch date but the pheasants didn't cooperate. I was dry hatching the chickens so I am now not sure what to do. I wanted to try to dry hatch both of them but now the pheasants will have humidity half way through. I don't have any great feelings for them.

I put 22 eggs in the incubator yesterday plus I put 8 under a broody hen. Pretty nervous cuz this is my first time to use an incubator, and it's this hen's first time to be broody.

*fingers crossed*

I'm with you. Last weekend (May 30th) I set 70 Pheasant eggs in my incubator. Last week Friday (June 3rd) I added 3 1/2 doz chicken eggs. Now for the wait...

It sounds like I'm not the only one who is a little bit worried about the outcome of my hatch, keeping fingers crossed for us all!
