Day 0-18 : chickens 40-50%
Day 18-hatch : all species 65% or more

That is perfect humidity. You want it between 50 and 55% (I go lower for the tiny bantam and Serama eggs) for the first 18 days, then you increase it during lockdownThanks for making me feel better. This is a good formula too, you just don't want it so humid that the air cels don't evaporate correctly. If your humidity is too high, they stay small and then you have hatching problemsDay 0-18 : chickens 40-50%

I found out the hard way...it's much easier to raise the humidity than lower it once in lockdown & hatching beginsThis is a good formula too, you just don't want it so humid that the air cels don't evaporate correctly. If your humidity is too high, they stay small and then you have hatching problems
