Well I candled my eggs to find one fertile egg. I am leaving them all but I can really see growth in one and nothing in the others. I am excited to have one but I am feeling bad it's going to be all alone! Hope everyone else has better luck and starting to see something.

I put my quail eggs in the incubator last night I candles them before starting them, a few already had little blood in them not sure that's normal our not for quail eggs. Also the quail I hatched last Monday already have flight feathers and are starting to try them out.

Have you found quail hard to hatch or brood? I plan on hatching some of my Texas A&M after this, but a breeder around here told me they where fairly sensitive.

I will probly be the last one to finish this hatch... my eggs were just shipped today! I hope its ok...

I'm hatching ducks so you wont be the last at least not by much, unless I killed them on day 2

I'm hatching pharaoh quail. Not sure about how sensitive they are. This is only my second time hatching ever, my first batch all but one egg was good seven of eight eggs hatched. And all four of my chicken eggs hatched. But all those guys were from my friends house down the road, no evil mail man delivery

SHOOT!!! Yeah i want too.... but was gonna wait a few weeks ...my last hatch is Sat...let the bator cool off but of course i bid on some LO eggs....hoped i'd be outbid but wasnt so ...should get eggs by Thurs -Friday tooSOME BODY STOP ME!!!!...

LOL! Me too... I feel your pain. Once this hatch is done, I have spoken for 25 more Serama eggs from the man who imported most of the founding birds into the U.S. and am going to see if he can send them as soon as these babies that are cooking now are hatched and in the brooder.

Yeah...I think i need a bigger boat! ....i mean COOP !(dating myself I with a Jaws reference)Well at least these i ordered will be sold so i wont keep any moreHave 20 chickens already.12 i hatched the last couple weeks and am keeping.This current hatch is going to some ppl but i would love to keep one a roo to cross with my current hens..LB,s as these are from show stock
Anyway gotta get building big tetime for the guys i have now
