Sex-links - all of the fun, non-technical stuff

I have 3 white leghorns that were hatched mid February and 3 RSL's that were hatched at the same time. My leghorns started laying on July 1st and all 3 are laying, however none of my Red Sex Links have started laying yet. They are almost 6 mos. old and still no eggs!! Love them though, they are like puppies always following me around and getting petted and carried around. The best temperament ever

Well, after all this waiting, 2 of my RSL's laid an egg today!! I was so excited for them. So this morning I collected 5 eggs :0

RSL's have officially taken over and now lay more eggs, more consistently than my leghorns!!
