So this will be my first post, and I guess the best way to start is to show the two Pekin my wife and I bought from tractor supply 4 1/2 weeks ago. This should leave their age at almost 7 weeks, I think. We bought them in preparation for the house with a few acres and a large pond with a small but well built duck coop that we need to to fill) but more on that later.
Here are videos & pics of the two: we have tentatively named them Daphne (female?) And Niles (male?). They are very very codependent on each other. After that they are codependent on us; which makes me want to increase their friend pool, one I can identify what they are.

Here is Daphne (female?), photos and a short video of her in a kennel (separating them is the best way to get them to chirp) though Daphne has started quaking. Daphne is smaller, has a shorter neck, and as the pictures show, has straight tail. In the two attached photos Daphne is the one on the bottom.

Here is a video of Niles (male?) And some photos. Niles is larger, does not quack, has a longer neck, and has a little curl on the end of the tail. If these three pics, Niles is on the top.
These pictures do a poor job showing the tail, I will try to get a better one

Firstly, I think they are younger than you think. I have two four week olds with similar feathering. Ducks sell really fast and grow really fast so if they were tiny when you got them, they are probably only 5 weeks old.
Anyway, yes, Daphne is quacking and a girl. You are probably correct about Niles but there is still a chance. The curly tail feathers don’t mean anything as they don’t get drake feathers until their next molt. But, the abdomen shape is a clue, leaning male. Also, his peeping is probably a clue but there is always a chance of a late bloomer. If I were you I would assume you are correct but there is still a chance of a surprise.

Gotcha. Just a preliminary check really as they probably will need friends in the near future.
We got them exactly a month ago yesterday, this is how they looked that day if that assists in aging them
