Shadrach's Ex Battery and Rescued chickens thread.

Wet and unispiring. Two and half hours today. Chickens not sure whether the foraging on the allotments or sheltering from the elements was the better option.

Buses and trains ground to a halt this morning because the river Avon burst it's banks in various places. Bristol City Council have been aware of flooding problems for many years but like the rest of British politicians, choce to spend their money on the wrong causes for the wrong reasons.

It is the same here, the world has gone mad. I am thankful for my chickens, they bring such joy and peace.

It has to be so hard for you. They are my therapy. Hopefully your circumstances change again, for the better, and you can get to a place where you can have chickens again.

Skeksis and Chippy were supposed to be the last, but Skeksis died before we got set up here. Currently, my wife does not want me having any more pets. I am not happy without having animals.

Does your wife know how hard it is on you to not have any of your animals? Maybe something that doesn't have much of a financial bearing but is still fulfilling?
