I couldn't get him! He roosted in the least accessible corner, not reachable from the pop door, and behind a row of sleeping birds if I tried from the back. I tried to grab him as he came out this morning but he was too quick for me. And clearly quite indignant at the thought I might even try (I guess in his perception) to tread himSo ?![]()
In any case he seems to be standing, walking, and treading fine this morning. I'll see if I can lure him into the utility room with some mealworms later, though he's never shown the slightest inclination to come in before.And that's a good point about the hens' feet; I watched them all yesterday and no-one else was showing any issue, so I do think it was his blood.
