Fact or Fiction?
(I DON'T BELIEVE IT). I read a lot late night to decompress and fall asleep.
I read again this crazy idea that if you are hatching chicks and want to avoid hatching any Roosters, discard any long pointy eggs. I have heard this and read this but will never believe this.

We sell a bunch of our eggs to help pay for the feed and health care for our flock. Sometimes I fill a carton up with all pointy eggs and joke about who gets to have a scrambled Roo breakfast?!
Oh brother.. That's good stuff!
Best regards,
Farmer Connie

No, it's not true. If you think about it, hens are the ones that make the egg's shape, even if she does have a rooster.

Well, I hatched 3 chicks and because of remembering my father saying this same thing I picked the more rounded eggs to put with my chicken to hatch, they are now 4 weeks old and am anxious to find out what I get....Hopefully 3 chickens not roosters lol
