If you are considering getting more chickens or if it's your first time getting them, you can come to this thread! I will try to add almost every breed of chicken.... But I will also need help! So if you have some chicken breeds that you like please feel free to post a review on here! Also you can just chat about some breeds that you are interested in! If you are considering getting a different chicken breed that you have never had before, you can reply to this thread asking members who own that breed some questions about it! Here is some info about some well known chicken breeds.

Red sex link chicken

Red sex links are also know as, Golden Comet, Red star, sex link, (etc)
They are one of the top best egg layers. You should get about 300 eggs per year from this bird. Also very friendly birds! To breed this bird you will need a White leghorn and a Rhode Island red... They are also well known breeds I will add some info about them later.... Now I want some helpers! Buff Brahma's





Cons about Buff Brahma's: They can be rough with other breeds. And they are a bit big to keep with bantams or smaller breeds of any kind.





Buff Brahma's are very docile birds. They love to run and play, they whistle cute sounds in your ear. They are SUCH adorable babies!!!


Buff Brahma's lay brownish eggs... (But not all) …Two out of four of my Brahma hens lay whitish chubby eggs. Meanwhile, the other two lay dark brown long eggs. Weird, isn't it?



I have not had a broody hen quite yet... But I think soon I might!




They are beautiful birds!! One being worst, ten being best, I would rate the breed 8 and a half! I would suggest them, the only way I would not suggest these birds is if they are the first breed you EVER got.



You need skill to hold a Brahma.

I've heard that some people's are still laying like almost everyday for like three years... But they should still lay a lot after that..
