Shaw and the Hound

I had to run a strand of hot wire around the bottom of the chainlink fence to keep my beagles in. It kept them from digging out or climbing the fence.

It's not really funny but I laughed very hard the first and last time the male pissed on the hot wire.

I felt that way when my cousin peed on the electric fence as kids.

He climbs and digs. I’d walk him again, but he loves laying outside, and walks were too distracting. I got him housebroken when I let him stay outside as long as he wanted. Now I can watch him go, and have him come right back in.
He runs free in here, but only when I’m watching.

I'm glad Mason hasn't decided to climb over the fence. he could get over parts of it pretty easily if he wanted. I have three different kinds of fence and some of it is shorter.
I don't dare take him out of the yard off leash. I do think he would come back to me but no telling what kind of trouble he would find himself in before he decided to come back.
