This was hilarious!! I was picturing devil geese! LOL!I don't know anything about geese period except growing up our neighbors across the road had two white ones that were mean as Satan. They'd go after the grill on the car when you tried to pull down the road. They were awful things...lol
I skipped ahead to the picture and was thinking "how the heck is that thing standing up?" Turned the phone around and all...then read the rest of the post! How'd you know I was going to do that!!?!Just found this Brower model, but the reviews aren't stellar. Anyone here ever used one? I know there are some here that use the old Browers. This one is all plastic and dishwasher safe! http://browerequip.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=1239&Itemid=709 And speaking of homemade incubators.... I was out in our warehouse and there's an old metal desk about to be thrown away. I was looking at the drawer unit on one side and wondering if I could make an incubator out of it. Looks like it would come completely off the desk itself. Thoughts? (yes, its laying on its end, on the floor, I rotated the pic... no need to tilt your head...)

Your crazy! I've been looking ALL over for one of those plastic playhouses to use for the chickens!! I even told my family to be on the lookout for the "kids"! I must be turning redneck!!!I have been so bad. We had a neighborhood cleanup and someone put out one of those thick fisher price kids play houses and I almost grabbed it for a coop for a breeding pen. Now that's redneck! I constrained myself though. Your husband is rad. My wife is like "when did those eggs get into the incubator? I thought you were done?". I told her "You don't choose the chicken life, the chicken life chooses you".![]()

Awww. They are precious! Long before chicken I had Dutch & Netherland rabbits. I loved them!!
