Shell less duck egg with broken yolk next to it

So yesterday was a no egg day....at all...

However this morning she produced another shell less egg -broken of course and what looks to be two smaller eggs. Like the size of a peanut...

I know, I think there has been way to much change in the past 2 1/2 weeks... vet, meds, extreme cold, moving them into the garage, moving them back into their pen, separation, and now extreme warmth, only to be fellowed by more cold.....I mean now that I put it into words

This weather sure has been crazy, to say the least! I'm curious to see how the birds handle the huge swings we have been experiencing, and coming up.

Congrats on running the course of the meds. The odd egg laying is a mystery. Sure hope her system levels out real soon.

Bill and Teds adventure to the vet was excellent!!! They both got a clean bill of health todaytoday was much better then 1st time around. Super happy!!! Teds yellowing and inflammation in the joints have gone down a lot.... lots of exercise in store for him though, we got to keep him moving.
Bill is doing great! We talked about the feed for her and for what my options are here, we both agreed that the purina layena feed was going to be the best choice for us both!!! As per usual, I will keep an eye on her laying eggs....but today was a good day!!

Thank you @casportpony .... I could not find this thread last night! I wanted to read it over again to if I could get some more insight on my Miss Hope laying issues!

Yes. This one is for Miss Bill (my 1st Duck ever), end of 2017 year going into 2018, when Miss Bill was having laying issues.

I need to re-read this thread, but I think this thread is a very good example of why we should never assume that egg laying abnormalities are normal.
