You have to use natural yogurt, works best if it doesn't contain gelatin. I use unflavored Balkan style, some people use flavored.
Put a paper towel in a strainer, dump in the yogurt, suspend it over a bowl, cover, put it in the fridge, leave it to drip for 3-4 days.
The whey drips through and you are left with yogurt cream cheese consistency in the strainer.
Give your dogs the whey. Chickens might like it ,never tried them with it.
There are recipes on the internet. I think most people call it YoCheese.
