Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

well... for now, congratulations are in order. A friend just got a coop and wants chicks. I told her that I can hatch some for her if a hen goes broody. The local farm stores no longer sell chicks, so it's maybe a win win. I hope. I'm on a local thread, looking for eggs, but most of the talk is about rabbits

Scrambles, you've heard that BYC will be read only for at least a few days next week? If you are hoping to find eggs, you need to do it before Tuesday. What is the new broody's name?

They have to change servers. The format of the site is going to change. It will be somewhat like Backyard Herds. Some people have joined BYH so they can keep up with news and some to get used to the different format, since it will be at least 3 days when BYC will be down while they do the switch over. You'll be able to read, but not post here.

When will this happen?

:D Ducks lay eggs.
There was a discussion about BYH having a temporary thread called "Educational incubating and hatching with friends " where you can ask about eggs.
Idk why Bantychooks started reading this thread (she's stalking me! Heeeeeeeelp!), but she can give better information.
