I had so much fun! we went for a late supper to a place that's a bit far away, but serves almost entirely gluten free food - the few dishes that have gluten can be prepared GF easily - the Chef/owner's wife and daughter have Celiac, so he really knows how to control cross contamination and his food is exquisite - everything is local and fresh. some is quite unusual - he had a steak, I had seared tuna, and got home just after I turned into a pumpkin! have to say... I could really fall hard for this man. I have to keep myself in check... but he gives the greatest hugs, so enveloping, so positive... it won't be easy. we've gone out for a few months now, and I look forward to every moment. we both work so much... both of us at 6+ days, so we don't get to spend lots of time together, but I think that "distance lends enchantment"... and "absence makes the heart grow fonder"... so we'll see how it goes. he thinks my menagerie is great, so that's another plus.![]()
I should be heading to sleep, but to be honest, I'm a bit wound up... maybe I'll string up some Cheerios for next weeks celebration. y'all need to try it, it was a big hit!
