Hi Lindz-I had one like that as well, well shrink wrapped anyways. You may want to dip your finger in some warm water and moisten the membrane. Make sure the beak is all the way out so it can breathe. With the membrane moistened, the chick has a chance to get out and live. It may not otherwise. I am the type of person to step in and take over if there is a chance for it to live with some human intervention. My chick lived and thrived, but alas it was a roo! Good luck!
