love the speckled egg lindz! really cool looking, wonder if it's a color coat fluke or if you'll get more like it.
Wow, lots of great ideas! It does take time, but slower is really better in the long run.
So my husband got inspired this weekend and started on our farm plan. This is what we can afford to do in the first year. I wish we could do it all.
Happy to take any advice from others.
The back rectangle is where we will have the pigs (2-5 at a time) and temporarily the goats that are scheduled to be born next year (pigs won't come until goats move to their real pasture the following year). This space will have a pole barn that is pretty bare on the inside. Maybe a couple of divisions for hay, birthing, etc...
The middle rectangle is the orchard/garden. My husband wants apple and peach trees and we already have a huge fig tree that we hope to move there as well.
The front small squares are the chicken coop and run. The run will be 16x16 and totall enclosed. We are putting it there to take advantage of two sides of the fence that will be there for the property line/garden. We also thought having the chickens there would be good because we could have an opening that allowed them into the garden when we want to go through and clean up after the end of the year or whatnot.
I have a really hard time w slow! I like "I want now" and "good enough".I'm trying really hard to be good!!!!![]()
