I move my pen around around for fresh grass about every other dayI've been thinking along the lines of a wood deck underneath, to help keep the mud down, in addition to predator control. I might put hardware cloth underneath that, to keep rats out.

I liked it too! Structural integrity is far less important in chicken coops than it is in people housing. And square? Don't even bother getting out that level, you'll spend hours obsessing over square/level when it doesn't matter the least bit. I love farm construction, LOL!!I freakin love it!![]()
