I added a second roost bar and poop board. So now I have them sort of stacked on each other. The new one is just slightly higher than the original.

How are you planning to clean your poop boards? The top one doesn't allow much room to maneuver your hand and 'shovel.'
I have about 8" off clearance only (minus the 3/4" or so of sand) in my setup and I make do with a kitty litter scoop just fine. Removable roasts are certainly easier though. I read just considering adding some blocks of wood as 'brackets' and removing the screws that hold my lower roost in place so I can lift it in and out off place for even easier cleaning. How are you planning to clean your poop boards? I want to to see pictures of your poop boards! That's right, boards that catch poop under your roost. Pics and descriptions like measurements or comments on litter material (sand, shavings, clay litter, etc). I am looking for inspiration here.
