Im looking for blue mugs and warhorse Anyone have blue mugs or warhorse please let me know. I have a few hennies i would trade if interested. Thankyou

Then eventually you'll have a fight and one will die. Probably time to separate.

My stags try to mate hens but I dont mind the top rooster chasing them around... because he is big and will never catch them. He just stays close to his main 3 hens and will protect them for any stag getting close.
How old are those stags?? Cause every stag I've kept won't run from anything. There is no running involved anywhere.
To clarify any stags that are penning age, which should be penned. If they're mating or trying to mate I would think they would be mature enough not to run.

are turkeys better at getting away from predators?
Tom turkeys can roll like a gamecock. I've seen them in the fields near my house during spring/breeding season. You could hear the impact from 250 yds away. Impressive to say the least. Hens will fight off Hawks regularly.
There's an old hunting video where a guy was turkey hunting and had one coming in. Coyote put the sneak on the bird, Tom turned and spurred him right in the neck. Killed him instantly. I can't find the video anywhere though.

Another Bigfoot sighting.

Haha. No I'm serious. I know that's not the norm. It may have even been a younger coyote but im telling ya the truth. Not that I really care if you believe it or not. Funny guy
havoc, A recent broody hen, chicks 3 weeks or so flew after a bird of prey recently. I was impressed!! she took off , 15 footish turned in fight and landed high on a zapote, the path the bird of prey took! it was a lil larger than a roo just about, is that a hawk ? osprey? don't know but she sure chased him off. during my childhood more than 1 aunt, uncle told me ,"their tame but don't approach the tom" if a roo can chip bone im sure a wild tom can pound for pound do some damage. lord knows a few of my dads roos in my youth have busted my chins up "OUCH"

Yeah most hens with chicks will fight off whatever they can.
I have turkeys run through my yard all the time. Last year a whole bunch came through with poults and my peacock was following the poults real close. Not sure what he was doing but I watched him for over a half hour. The turkey hen bowed up to the peacock no less then 10 times. Each time he ran off.
