I have been eying some ' silver ' lakenvelders. They actually look sorta blue on the white.what color u speak of? They come white/black and golden/black that I know of
depends on the bird. Some just stand there motionless for a bit. Some flip out and some just start pecking the ground like they been on it all day long. I just stay with them for s bit and tug on it so they know it's there. I haven't had any problems. Just the one miner with big straight comb likes to fly a bit. I have rubber cords with a bit of stretch to it. I know some guys will put a hitch on their legs while they are penned so they get used to it. I've never done that though.When u first put them on cords like when they first hit the ground what happens? Never saw the initial cording. Seen birds on them or returned to a cord but never " broke " on one
