The only ones I'm really messing around with are the blacks. I had gotten a pair of Mel sims and a stag and another hen all Mel sims but from different areas of the country. Breeding the pair as I got them, then the other rooster to both hens. So technically 3 lines. Can't do the 4th had to cull the other rooster due to injury.
if need be I could send u a gamefowl, game testing kit. U get immediate results and it'll weed out the dunghills pretty quick (requires the use of two birds) lol

I'm just joking. You could end up with some pretty aggressive birds that are mixed.

so far their offspring are passive...no roos out of the 6 chicks..and all started laying by 5 months of age...tasty little eggs

Since our last conversation I decided to move a broody grey hen to the above the ground cages before the weather gets here intending on switching her eggs Sunday. When I just went to grab her up with the nest the nests floor separated from the rest ( bucket) so I had to put another nest in the other cage put the kelso eggs in it (why not now! Might as well (9) and scooped her up brought her across the yard and plop right on the good eggs then threw hers.
