How's everything down there with all that rain? Hope all is well for you guys.

I talked to my wife earlier and she said, over 8" so far and the news channel said that the rain will end Saturday. We're not going to flood but the pens are.

Just talked to my bride and she said most everything is good except the 4x4 pen are filling up level with the frames. A couple of them laid their egg in water, I have moved some of the nest buckets up to the roost, I guess I'll be moving all the rest of them up too. Crazy weather!

Single mated, different strains so I can toe punch them and keep track. The chicks that aren't in the netting are leiper/penny crosses and blacks. I can tell them apart. But there is a black/grey cross and a ruble cross that I might not have been able to tell.

I got those bags at wood enterprises. Can use onion bags too but I don't eat too many so I just ordered these. I got 50 of em for $20. Not exactly the cheapest but they are nice to have.

I use 2 Genesis incubators. One running constantly and the other as a hatcher.
