One for the wife? Gonna make it into a flatback for a trolling motor? Just got word some Albany chicks are coming tomorrow. Someone Gonna pick up the redquill pair and bring me the Albany chicks in lieu of the Sylvester. And before you ask yeah my downsizing is working well lol

Yeah for the wife but no flat back. It's an old town pack made out of royalex. 12 ft long 33 lbs.(26 lbs lighter than my other one) sweet boat for going way out where you probably shouldn't. Needs a little work, not too much though. A new seat, maybe a Kevlar skid plate, otherwise just wear and tear scratches, dings and dents.

I Iove canoes, pirogues not for me I'm not graceful enough for keeping dry in one of those. As a juvenile we frogged out pirogues.

Royalex is a sandwiched material of abs, foam, and vinyl. Very light, flexible and tough. Don't make it anymore. Just about everything has switched to either carbon fiber, Kevlar or polyethylene which is the cheapest, heaviest and toughest.

Nah on the seat. It's been lowered with spacers which I would have done anyway. Better center of balance that way.
