Well he is doing better today. Eating lots more, and drinking more, he even chatted with me a bit today. He sure wanted some attention, and yesterday I couldn't even get his attention.

As long as you feed them enough and they have access to water not snow. They should be fine way lower than the twenties. It's been in the twenties for the high much of this winter with lows in the single digits and a few days below zero. Every bird I have is just fine single penned. Keep the wind off em and shouldn't have any problems at all.

Yes sir. Notice the zip tie leg band. That's so my wife puts her back in the right pen. I have three splash that look similar. I can tell them apart but don't want any mistakes. She don't play well with the others.

My birds are all doing fine with the cold Pennsylvania weather. The problem in having is fertility. My law greys are laying but eggs not developing.
you have them in an incubator?

Getting even colder toward the end of the weekend/next week. Looks like below zero at night. Maybe another snowstorm too

Yeah the wind has been blowing and I think the wind did it. He seems to be getting back to his usual self. He wanted to play with the kids tonight. I think Sunday it will be warmer if so then I will put Speed and oddball in the little chick coop and fix a pen for them to come out in the mornings so they can eat grass and rocks and stuff. But that should keep any wind off them both and at night I can close it and they will stay warm together. Oddball already cut her foot on something in with Hope. So now I have to move her. Poor baby keeps falling over and hurting herself in there. Luckily it was just a scratch, but she is already crippled due to her stroke after the hawk got to her, so we still keep her away from the other flock they will attack her any chance they get. Her and speed though get along great together. He wont even eat until she does, and he even helps feed her by giving her food.

Yes I have incubator with maran eggs,so I put in greys. I candle at 7 days, clear eggs are boiled and fed back to the pullets
too cold in my house for running an incubator. I just use a wood stove, so it gets a little chilly while im at work. Way to cold outside to let hens hatch any. So I will wait til it gets warmer.
