Back when the laws were different, I've seen times where 2 birds went together and one was down very fast, then the other one wouldn't finish or peck at the down bird to break count or to gain the count resulting in a draw or loss for both. Battlefowl, (crossed between 2 or 3 families) no matter how good they are able to perform have to be finishers too. That makes some aggressiveness is a most. This is also another trait of gameness.
yeah I saw one back in the day just stand over the other timed out should a saw my friends face lol

Flypen, I just thought of something that may make them just a little better...  do they come in blue?

Lol Mr. Richard Bates had 2 families of Hatch and one family of Greys. I don't know of anything else. I guess you could always blend the 2 families and make your own.

You will not find too many people here who approve of crossing gamefowl with layers. You will also not find too many people here that are excited to help people buy birds/eggs with the sole purpose of breeding them to sell. If you do just a little research on your own you will find that it is hard enough just to keep a family of gamefowl good with the laws being what they are. This is without crossing them to everything with feathers.
There are plenty of other threads about meat birds, layers, becoming the next great chicken breeder, etc..

Brunner Roundheads are American gamefowl. You have been given advice that it's not wise to cross gamefowl with layers. You have chosen not to accept yet continue to ask questions about what they will look like as adults. I don't think anyone on here crosses the two.
People that buy, breed and sell gamefowl for the sole purpose of profit will end up with terrible birds because your watching every penny. Imo you would be doing a disservice to the birds and the quality, and care they receive will suffer in the long run.

so ive got something alot of people frown upon for their purpose before i had them. i just want to make something new and outside the box thinking and since i have multiple chicks i can do multiple things with. ive got barred rocks and RIR for selling as normal since they are going to mean they are the main purpose to keep me afloat while i experiment, but why not have say 1 pure bred brunner rh, one brh x glh and my own making. why not let someone think they might be onto something. at least it shows im eager to learn even from mistakes, and im willing to test breeds to see if you can possible stumble across something [rpfitable when its found. how many different breeds started thickens. 1?2? now theres almost any and every variety all from people wanting to make the next great chicken. gamefowl came to america right? how many years did it take them to come up with lacys and all the other breeds in america. the lacy was from a judge here in america right? so people make their version of great birds by doing what im doing right now. Not into fighting them. i want to see if i can shimmy a little egg production into a game bird and see if i can make a bird that looks awesome like a game bird but larger and one that people will want for egg laying abilities as well.
