Main reason I quit using them is my pens are all screwed down with no doors "no chance of escaping" so I stick to the cups. Then every now and then I scoop em them all up in a couple of buckets and scrub them out. Within about 30 seconds they get em dirty again lol
ha yeah I do have one I keep outside the pen just cause I don't feel like going through all the crap to go in and change his lol

Some birds drink a lot while others drink very little. I do have two cups on a few trios. I fill water cups twice a day. Your humid weather would definately have them drinking more.

Ouch.

I found turmeric powder stops the bleeding and heals up wounds awesome got the tip from some Pakistani folks totally healed up my dog's ears when nothing else worked (she got her head stuck while I was working and when she unstuck her self the dog literally pealed all her skin off the top of her ears. I keep an emergency jar now, for stopping bleeding and treating wounds. I also found out the red turmeric powder (which is turmeric with lime) is an ingredient in a mix used on Vietnamese GF... I researched all the ingredients to try to understand the medical uses. I am not sure though what difference the red vs yellow will be other than dye effect on the stags skin.. I use yellow for medical emergencies. Turmeric Powder stains too...

Just sharing a folk remedy that I tried and it works. Since I cook with turmeric I had it so I tried it out.

We've been over this before but how often do you guys worm your birds. I don't have any issues and have yet to find a worm in years of keeping chickens. If anything my birds are a little heavy, which isn't good eitheri know.
My question really is what the h*ll are people either doing or not doing that they need to worm their birds every month? I suppose some of it may be the location, weather and soil type but I'm not sure. What do you guys think?
