I use a net as a last resort and almost never on stags and cocks. Using a net on roosters will p*ss them off in a hurry.*in attempt to sidetrack things from a full out duel...*
Do you guys have a issue of game birds "learning" how evil the net is? My Krainkoppe mixes are the devil on that behalf and got the others trained to run from me and the net. I can save the thing within a 100 yards and they scatter with feathers in the air![]()
Best to try to feed them by hand for awhile. Let em get close to you without touching them for a few days and slowly over time they'll warm up to you.
