Sorry no. Only the breeder would know. We can't with a typical red bird much less a blue that's all over the place in color in color and pattern.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I've never been to anybody's house where they said " see all these birds? I didnt get the chance to meet the owner as i recieved stag from a friend who couldnt tell me much other than was supposed to be some "good chickens". And he knew the man and his reputation in the pits and my friend just called it a blue
So, if he has no blue genes what is in his make-up? I know he is a Spanish game, but in any chicken ( game or non game) that I've ever bred to get the pyle or splash color it took a blue gene to produce it.
He is mixed ... Mother was Red Pyle Modern Game... Father was mixed American of my wild type (Hatch, Leiper, Grey, pure white Spanish).So, if he has no blue genes what is in his make-up?
