suppose to rain had a few tornadoes spin up none too close. Guess I'll start cutting up foam and ordering cups

We have had nothing but rain! It has been very mild, 60 yesterday, which is unheard of for us. I see CA keeps getting snow and rain with another big storm moving in. Another strange winter...
I hate to keep eating the eggs, but it just seems so early to let the girls set. I know as soon as I do, winter will arrive.

It is early to me too Usually I'll start the end of Feb beginning of March. The ones I would let set now are just ones that I need to up the numbers on. If u only have a pair or 2 it's hard to throw or eat the eggs. The blues should be kicking in in about a mo bu one hen started so theres no telling

Yeah I use frontline spray, each wing and around the vent.

She came out to make sure nothing was killing the birds but ended up helping me spray the rest of the birds. I was about halfway done when she started helping. Lol

we have a wind advisory today that's unusual. I get nervous when them squall lines come through with fronts they can get pretty intense
