No predators mess with the cattle... way too big for coyotes, bob cats or mountain lions. Ranchers like the predators because they kill squirrels, and they shoot a lot of ground squirrels. Leave cattle/calf carcasses for predators even.
That's more BS. Coyotes, mountain lions etc.. absolutely will kill calves. Where the h*ll do you get your information from?Maybe they don't have a problem but in Texas, Wyoming, Idaho etc.. they sure will.

Coyote killed calf. Eaten from the anus first. Just like Mother Nature intended. I bet that calf didn't feel a thing.

Direct from the owner (father-in-law who bleeds Nascar and Fox News)... said he has seen one calf with tail missing (probably from coyote) but that was once in his lifetime.

Loses more calves to birthing issues because of the offspring size.. Extra large Angus I guess.

I could care less about NASCAR or Fox News. Don't like any of the news channels. I prefer MotoGP.
I'm sure the predator issues is different for everyone.
The coyotes in the northeast can run up to 50-55 lbs or so.
I do however think it's amusing how you automatically think I'm a right wing fanatic. I can think for myself chief.
If there's trout in that stream sometimes you won't see them at all. I think you should give fly fishing a try. You have tons of good streams and rivers. Spend some more time outdoors and you might learn something haha
