I had 2 tie cord roosters get killed the other night, the normal dog, owl, fox, etc. I've seen the aftermath. Both of these had all their feathers pulled out of their back and tail feathers gone on one, both heads still connected, no meat on any of the neck bone, and the top side between the neck and the back was eaten on one. I have my suspension that it was a possum, but it's the first time I've seen the neck bone cleaned off like this. Plus it had to of pulled them off their tee pee.

Yea, another thing is this hot wire I have kills possums. I don't remember ever seeing a neck bone cleaned off like these were.

I say raccoon too. I doubt a possum. That's a lot for a possum.

Even though I worry about all the local critters who see my birds as take out, raccoons are the ones most likely to try here, got nice big roaming clans of them around my home.. makes the loaner possum less of a threat.
