These are not games but part of cool project. Of 24 hatched, 22 still making it. Part of Missouri Dominique project. Clutch actually combination of two hens where one pulled once both went broody. We will be eating most of them.

Two large broods within 36 hours. Will be testing my super-duper-elevated-hawk-proof brooder system with little flowers.

All are Missouri Dominiques. Still seeing throwbacks with brother sister matings. Currently birds just need to grow well, have good type, be barred, and have a rose comb. Another 10 years will be needed to fix for those alleles plus white legs.

If a fox, then a gray but does not keep tight schedule like a respectable fox. The fox that goes through yard even I can smell. I think my little problem is a bobcat that is very partial to hunting rabbit along my path to my barn.
