I've done that cross, not my clutch though the stag is mine. I like the product of the cross but they were man fighters. Couldn't even feed and water them so I didn't even keep one.

Thanks, the other miners under a hen started pipping today too. So after those and the other grey hatches her clutch of breeder grey eggs in a week or so I'll be done.

i have one bird that is a real challenge to feed and water. He's a good looking bird after you consider how much of a pain in the azz he is. Still undecided on the fate of this one. I like him though for some reason.
