I took thousands of years of gameness right out of them in just 10 years. I deserve a participation trophy at the least for that accomplishment.

Not knowing how old they are, the parents, adding modern game etc.. you probably did.
Doesn’t really matter though do what you like. I sure don’t care but you really must not have too many “game”fowl I had a stag in a drop pen in my shed and my wife left the door open. My fly tying cockerel that’s loose went after the stag in the pen. Bent wires, blood you name it.
