Man, he's a nice bird!!!
yeah, I've got a few young chicks running the branch-head right now.
man reading branch head reminds me of going find my friends dads gyp after a coon hunt there was always 1 that never wanted to load up and his dad would get home and tell us to go get her and that's where she'd always be lol we went at daylight

Don't worry about the eggs, I don't know what I could do with them(lost my big incubators in fire) I can barely take care of what I have now. Got a trio of Cecil Davis Kelso shipped to me about a month back and let one of my buddies take them home with him(lol) I'll be lucky to raise enough Hatch and clarets this year.
Thank you so much for your generosity (now if that Sylvester hatch flew up my way///lol joking with you).
I gotta couple or so Roundheads I gonna try also lol and can barely walk
no problem the offer will always stand you know that. That Sylvester pair I'd been supposed to be breeding but they just finally made it here. The male and female are from different yards hoping my kelso starts laying soon too. I have 2 hens both sisters being bred back to their dad and of course the one by herself already started laying. Just my luck

Yeah, 'lol I've been in those situations before. Branch-head right below my place and the best place in the world to raise chickens, if you can keep the coons and possums out.

Foggy morning here listening to 5 yards of roosters in the dark. Cool to be able to tell which roosters most of them are with their unique crows

Morning, foggy and mild here too this morning, for a change. Roosters are not crowing yet. The sound really travels in the fog.

I don't know their background history but have shown many of them crossed on good hatch successfully. I had some that were only 1/4 Wingate 1/4 Griffin Claret 1/4 lacy RH 1/4 Buck Stansell's Hatch that we showed 8 to 10 times.I let some friends have a few of them, so they may have won more
I am going to be looking hard for Wingates.
