Good morning, but he also said he didn’t have the room for pigeon sized little ones. If I lacked the space (I do) I’d do small selective clutches so I could focus more so on each instead of the spray and pray. But like you said to each their own. Also are the hens to be orgied were they raised together or or they separated now? If so I’d expect a problem

I lack the space but this year we're expanding the iron dome to accomodate at least 20 more. I already started a plot to house
6-8 stage in their own separate flypen. Its outside the HQ but still on the farm. Every pens hens were all raised together. And even if I do add a new hen, like when I threw in the pure grey hen with the gradio pullets, they started going at it one on one and the Gradio bested the grey and now she's dominant even tho there's scuffles here and there but That's in all my pens.
The rooster let's them go at it for a little before he steps in and lays the law down lol

Females can cuckold as well. Down your way female wood ducks will purposely lay eggs in the nest of other females. Second female allows first to have potential for more offspring, at expense of second female. Younger females, in games, are most likely to do it in part because they have have higher egg output and may not have first dibs at preferred nest sites. There is also the across species stuff like done by cowbirds. Females are primary players in that as well when it comes to where eggs are deposited at cost of someone else.

Few more days in the incubator and I'll have some Rubles, I can't hatch to early in the year some of them will be giants over 6#. I picked up over 30 eggs yesterday and put them in the refrigerator, some good ones to.
