I have gotten pure black with goldish fingers in the hackle. I think havoc had one too

wings carried up high near their back, hackle feathers pulled in tight against their neck, don't want to peck another rooster, boys with no balls, scared. Normally butchers mature early, I penned them early around 4 months and never noticed any of them acting any way but normal.

feathers on neck behind comb will stand up and sometimes they squall

no I don't have much room and choosing between black and splash I'll keep the splash. I don't like black enough to warrant pen space.

This pullet fought off a Cooper’s hawk. My wife said she kicked the piss out of him. Too close to the propane tank to finish the problem. Of course I ain’t home.
