Then why does the stags always look grey? Grey always shows over red. Let me rephrase that: I have never seen red show over grey and since I've never seen it it never happens

I asked why you think I should run corrid....lol do my chicks look sick?
the center one looks puffed and a little off compared to the what looks to be active ones all around. But hey man what do I know go head leave them be I'm sure they'll be ok not like it costs much or would hurt them in any way

Ahh ok I see what you mean. You're talking about that little radio. I think most of them puffed up probably because of the humidity. Yesterday was fairly dry and today is super damp. Hey but now that I got you on the subject, how do you run the corrid?
Like do you use it to prevent symptoms or do you use it when you notice symptoms? And how much?
I'm running about half a teaspoon per quart of water. Is that too much or too little?

I run the cow corid powder think it's 20% 3 days a teaspoon each day with a gallon of water fresh each day. That is twice as much as recommended but that's how I do it I just do it 3 days instead of a week never had any problems

I do both usually when I put them on the ground I'll run a 3day a week after they hit the ground just incase since they been above ground and without their mother

Sounds like a plan.
You ever notice any side effects?
When you say you run both, you run some electrolyte/probiotic mixed in as well?

I have two stags that prove otherwise.

I feed medicated starter and I’ve never had a bird with cocci or bad enough to notice at least. I clean pens once a week though with chicks and don’t let the ground get wet at all. Always fresh straw. I let em out to run loose fairly early on too. I have a 10 yr old bag of corid that I’ve never even opened.
