I must have missed that video. The cocks seem unfazed by the little battles. Sometimes the hens will get involved but usually not. They seem to take place when they are outside and have room to spread out but choose not to.
I have yet to observe cocktail attack the combatants. Mechanism by some other means.

That chick will grow to be like the top one the rest with be like the bottom. I think you posted a picture of one of your ruble hens that has the same color not too long ago.
