Just might actually. My mentor keeps all sorts of chickens around. Anytime I ask him something about the chickens he likes to simply respond, "They come like that" I'm gonna inquire about it next time I see his b*tch*ss lol

Warhorse I think are base black rather than brown red. Hens of base black have black wings and tail while brown reds have brown.

blacks and brown red are similar, and variations of each other from what I have observed..

With the latest recall of 200 million eggs traced back to NC. Owned by Rose Acre farms , Ind I would to know just exactly what they do to treat, prevent the outbreak from happening again.
With that many hens my guess is they are pumped full of antibiotics. No way they are culling thousands of hens right? Then again I guess they have number systems that identify at least maybe one chicken house to isolate issues like this.
I find it interesting that you’ll see numerous articles about the recall yet not one ever says what they do to fix the issue aside from returning, trashing those lot numbers of eggs.
