Out fishing yesterday this guy motors up to me in his fancy fishing kayak with his young son on board. Any luck? He holds up a decent bass! It was dead on ice. Can’t keep them until after June 15 here because of the spawn. Not only that but that big they don’t even taste that good. I wanted to rip him but since his son was with him and mine I let it go. Now this guy had a couple grand into his fishing set up. I can’t beleive he didn’t know the regs. People like this piss me off. They ruin it for everyone else and he’s not setting a good example for his kid.
After I explained to my son what the problem was he says let’s go after them. Lol

Havoc, with all due respect, there is a difference between ignorance and arrogance. I would view that as a great teaching opportunity for all involved.

Could be,however if he can find all the info, locate, and purchase a fancy fishing kayak, with trolling motor that is stable enough for him to stand in while his son is sitting in I’d say it’s arrogance. Maybe he doesn’t know that rules but that just means to me that he doesn’t care enough about the resource to spend a fraction of the time looking into it as he did acquiring that boat.
I can guarantee he didn’t know and didn’t do it on purpose. I highly doubt he would have came over and showed me if he did. I spend a lot of time fishing and hunting and I run across plenty of morons. Not knowing isn’t an excuse. It’s 2018 and this is NJ.
My guess is he wanted to get it mounted (

Could be Im just mad because I had a real nice bass break me off because I’m hell bent on landing a few big bass on a tiny fly rod.
