For me, the wattles are more telling than the comb at a very young age, especially on pea comb birds. Just tilt their head up a little. The males get more pink than the females, even before they get any size to them.

What's my chicks now like a week old? I enjoy watching em and checking on them, I just had two have a face off little bit ago feet flying in faces lol. Ya can't pressure them into being a certain sex lol.
