I like the rubber cords since they stretch. I mess with birds a lot while they’re on cords so imo the rubber is better. They all work fine and have been used forever.
I’ve seen plenty of people use twine. I don’t think I would go that route though. Lol

Got plenty of room to move moveable pens around. I'd suggest using straw in them stationary pens or any pen you don't plan to move.

Would it do good with the mulch that's already in the pens? I like the mulch because it raises the ground level so it's not as wet
