They clearly have something else added to them recently. Doesn’t matter one bit like centra said. They all have been crossed over and over. Some more recent than others. If I were you I would forget about the color completely and focus on the good birds no matter how they come.

Everything on my yard right now is in my eye a good bird. I like certain traits from each one, with the exception of biddies. Also a friend thinks it will be good to cross my McLean hatch pullets to my red quill stag come spring

Had one hell of a day.

When I got to work, spied about 100 goats eating the research Blue Berry Plot. Had to help resolve that mess before dealing with my own.

Towards end of day kids and I took a 7 mile back ride. They are hurting. Saw 19 snakes representing 4 species. And this pair on a date. Some body likes big girls.
