If a bird is getting picky they are probably being fed way too much.

I’ve never seen a bird not ate whole corn except in summer when they barely want anything on real hot days.

Agreed and I feed according to how the bird eat the day befor I refuse to waste feed by feeding the field rats

Kill the rats. Feed less. Buddy I’ll cull a bird for a whole lot of reasons but not eating corn sure as hell ain’t one of them.

From the pic, I see sorghum/millet, wheat, oats, sunflower, corn and those small brown pellets. You can price out seeds/grains, but those brown pellets are the most expensive/valuable part of that feed. They provide the balanced nutrients and perhaps protein too as most of those seeds/grains are low protein.

The scratch is like skittles. I like skittles so the birds get em too.
They’re good for the mind.

The feed it's self that I feed is dang good stuff smells real good birds love the heck out of it. In what I feed they may be 5 pieces of whole corn out of all the feed they'll eat the pellets just as well as the corn.
